Description |
Studio portrait of an Apache man in his twenties. He is wearing a short hairpipe breastplate and has long hair which is wrapped in fur. He has a feather in the top of his hair. He is holding a bow and arrow in his left hand. He has an ornamental strip that appears to be circular metal discs hanging from his hair. He has a blanket around his shoulders. The original is 4¼x6 inches albumen photographic print mounted on buff card, “Apache Brave” written in pencil on back of card. |
