Description |
Studio portrait of a Kiowa man in his twenties or thirties who is seated and wearing a large hairpipe breastplate. He has shoulder length hair, some of which is braided. He has some beaded ornamentation in his hair. Two earrings are visible in his left ear. Original is 4¼x 6 inches albumen photographic print mounted on white card, “W.S. Soule, Fort Sill, Indian Territory.” printed on back of card. |
